Standard Kit with Duality or Trinity Laser
Protective Goggles
For use during laser procedures, these goggles will offer full protection for practitioners and patients when worn. It is very important that the filter on the goggles corresponds to the wavelength of light used for treatment, and that sufficient optical density is incorporated.
For the Duality, two pairs of 1064nm/532nm protective glasses are provided with your laser. For the Trinity, goggles for the 694nm ruby wavelength will be provided.
Stainless Steel Eye Shields
Stainless steel eye shields are provided to provided patient protection during treatments of facial tattoos. The traditional goggles are too large to allow treatment of some tattoo around the eyes (tear drops and other close-to-the-eye tattoos), and these metal eye protection devices are convenient and effective.
Adjustable Hand Piece Kit
Astanza lasers come standard with 2mm, 3mm, and 6mm hand pieces. These focal devices allow the user to change the diameter of the beam that is emitted.
Operators Manual
The operator’s manual will provide basic instructions in the use of your Astanza tattoo removal laser. Includes presentation of basic device operation, troubleshooting, technical specifications, and functionality.
Laser Warning Sign
Required by state and national regulatory authorities when using Class 4 laser devices, this sign will be posted on the door of the treatment room.
Customized for the Duality and Trinity systems, it will notify by-standers of a Class 4 laser device with specific wavelengths, pulse width, and minimum protective goggle standards.

Cryo 6 by Zimmer
Epidermal Skin Numbing/Minimizing Pain During Treatment
The Cryo 6 by Zimmer is used by many Astanza practitioners to numb a patient’s skin before and during tattoo removal laser treatments It is used to minimize pain and any thermal injury during laser and dermatological treatments.
Unlike other cooling methods such as contact cooling, cryogen spray or ice packs, the Cryo 6 can cool the epidermis before, during, and after laser energy has been applied without interfering with the laser beam.
The Cryo 6 is simple to use. The user inputs the level of cooling desired and presses the “start” button. A flexible hose delivers air that has been filtered and cooled down to -30 degree centigrade.
There are no consumables to this system and it is powerful and reliable enough for a full day’s operation. Zimmer’s Cryo 6 is a great addition to a busy tattoo removal practice that wants a fast and effective numbing option for patients.
